I am a British theatre-maker, writer, and educator. I received a BA in Acting from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, now the Royal Conservatoire Scotland. I went on to study for two years at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris. I hold an MA from the University of Birmingham and am a PhD candidate at Royal Holloway, University of London. My research explores the relationship between devised theatre-making and playwriting. I am also Associate Dean, Practice Research at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore where I specialise in teaching movement and devised theatre-making.
